Free new immersive App gets people even closer to the action at Paignton and Newquay zoos

Sister sites, Paignton Zoo in Devon and Newquay Zoo in Cornwall, are launching an amazing new App to help people get even more out of their visits to the zoo.

The App contains numerous features to help visitors plan their day, including an interactive map, in-depth information on all of the species, and details on all upcoming events, activities and animal talks.

Susanne Halliday, Head of Visitor Services, says:

“We are very excited to launch this wonderful App that will enhance every visitors’ experience and make their journey immersive and even more exciting.”

The App was created in conjunction with developers, n-gage.io, which have also developed customised Apps for other zoos and wildlife parks, such as Knowsley Safari Park and Northumberland Zoo.

The App goes live at Newquay Zoo today, Friday 16 February, and will launch at Paignton Zoo on Monday 26 February. It is completely free, and can be downloaded using the links below, or by searching for ‘Wild Planet Trust’ in either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

For more information on the App, please visit either the Paignton Zoo or Newquay Zoo website.
